How do I return an item?

Return Policy & User Agreement


At LaZa Modz we want to bring the highest quality products to the consumer, and at the same time make you aware of our company policy in order to avoid any misunderstanding to insure 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. Below is a list of issues we decided to address.

  • We offer a 7 day money back Guarantee on all orders (less shipping costs). This does NOT include custom orders (Any Controller with Custom Names, Logos, Clan Emblems or Theme Controllers). 
  • All orders will incur a 20% Restocking Fee and Shipping costs. If an order is cancelled after it has been placed (But before you receive it) and work on your Custom Controller has already been started, your refunded amount will be 15% less the original cost (To cover fees) and any lost parts or labor incurred by LaZa Modz L.L.C.
  • Our Warranty Only covers the function of the Rapid Fire Chip Installed, LEDs, and will apply ONLY if the rapid fire does not work or any LED burns out. Paint CANNOT be included in the warranty due to variables the customer can subject to the controller.

  • All products are tested before they are packaged and sealed in a shipping box. Therefore, if you receive a damaged product or it's not in working condition, please contact our customer service department and we will open a claim with UPS or USPS to cover the cost of goods.

  • If a product is damaged or is in need of a repair, pleasecall us at 1-888-990-6639 and mail it back to the headquarters with the damaged product. This applies only to shipments which are returned within the "7 Day Money Back Guarantee" period.

  • If your product is physically damaged, and the 7 days have elapsed, you will be responsible for all shipping fees and repair costs not covered by the warranty. You will be notified by email once we process you return for the costs involved. It is your responsibility as a consumer to follow our return policy.

  • We do NOT offer returns on custom shells.

  • If you ordered a "MAIL IN MOD SERVICE" it is your responsibility to send us your controller for an upgrade. If you purchased this Service, and did not send a controller, we will not be able to know when to refund your payment. If this was a mistake, once customer service has been informed, they will process a refund immediately.

  • If you ordered an item marked "OUT OF STOCK" we will email you informing the item is not in stock. It is your responsibilty to follow up on your purchase.

  • NO WARRANTY can be added once you receive the product by mail.

  • LaZaModz will NOT REFUND any money after the 7 Day Money Back Guarantee has expired or on Custom Painted Controller Shells for any reason or demands by the consumer.

  • Depending on our order volume, please allow up to five to six to eight weeks until your order is fully assembled and passed through our Shipping department. We do not carry any pre-assembled controllers in stock as all our controllers are made to order.
  • Under NO circumstances will we accept returns because product is not "AS PICTURED". Each order is unique, and we have over 200+ options and combinations for your controller, it is not our responsibility to add anything you do not select and pay for. 
  • Once a custom order is placed, you cannot cancel or change your order while it is being built. If you have questions or concerns, please call us before placing your order.
  • If you are mailing your controller for a repair, the technician department will take up to 48-72 hours to test and fix any issues it may have.
